Mission and Objectives
Mission
To contribute to the qualified training of high-level human resources, to conduct internationally excellent research in Electrical Engineering and related areas, with the aim of promoting social well-being.
Objectives
The program aims to provide engineers and undergraduates with increased technical qualifications in electrical engineering and related areas, with the aim of training personnel for the business, government and academic sectors.
Specific Objectives
- To develop in master's students the ability to conduct research, master applied scientific methodology and deepen the student's professional and academic knowledge in the chosen subject;
- To develop in doctoral students the ability to conduct original research and train leaders for the country in their respective areas of activity;
- To provide engineers and undergraduates with increased technical qualifications in electrical engineering and related areas, with the aim of training personnel for the industrial and academic sectors;
- To develop in doctoral students the ability to conduct original research and train leaders for the country in their respective areas of activity;
- Develop in master's students the ability to conduct research, master applied scientific methodology and deepen professional and academic knowledge on the topic of the dissertation;
- Promote the conduct of research in electrical engineering and related areas to promote the advancement of science and technology;
- Promote the knowledge chain, enabling the creation of innovative companies and products for national development;
- Promote the conduct of research on topics of interest for the development of national companies and technologies;
- Promote the integration of graduate and undergraduate studies to motivate undergraduate students to enter graduate studies;
- Promote joint projects and research with other national and foreign institutions, aiming at the optimization of resources and the increase of scientific productivity;
- Promote the integration of professors in international scientific organizations and associations.
